Skiarea Pejo 3000 Val di Sole

Pejo is the oldest tourist resort in Val di Sole, in the heart of the Stelvio National Park. This 70-year-old resort is set in a typical Alpine valley that stretches to the most famous peaks of the Cevedale Group. The location is the ideal destination for families seeking a relaxing time also on the long runs leading down to the village on the slopes of Mount Viòz, in a unique environment. ...

A tradition-rich valley in the largest Italian National Park, 20 km of beautiful tracks from 1400 to 3000 meters, perfect for those who detest confusion, a very modern spa centre, a wide range of offers for fun and relaxation for nature lovers. The PEJO 3000 cable car, with two 100-seat vehicles brings passengers in just a few minutes from Tarlenta (2,000 meters) to the 3,000 meters of altitude of the old mountain hut ”Mantova”, right in the heart of the Ortles-Cevedale mountains. A modern and spacious machine that climbs up to Valle della Mite, allowing you to dive down an exciting and wonderful 8-km-long descent to Peio Fonti. The new cable car allowed for improving, with an even longer skiing run and with an almost vertical drop, the legendary Val della Mite slope, a breath-taking route through the fantastic scenery of the Stelvio National Park. The novelty for the 2016/2017 season is the four-seater “Saroden” chairlift, which will begin operating during the next winter season. The new lift covers approx. 1 km and carries skiers from 2,183 m up to the “Filon dei Omeni” mountain ridge at 2,500 m. Two new red runs begin here: the “Saroden” slope, which is approx. 1 km long with a descent of over 300 m and an average gradient of 27%, and the “Beverina” slope, which is 650 m long with a descent of 150 m and an average gradient of 23%.
