Orti - Marilleva
Built in 1970, enlarged and defined in 1992, the slope then received national approval by the F.I.S.I. and international approval by the F.I.S. for the giant slalom. Numerous competitions were hosted, here, including various editions of the Ski Trofeo Topolino. In 2002 further changes were made to improve the track, a state of the art snowmaking system was installed therefore allowing the slope to be completely prepared and groomed using programmed snow. This is a challenging slope, carved into the heart of a fir forest, with numerous gradient changes: the steepest part of the track is right at the beginning, a 700 meter dive down the slope, while the rest of the track has easier areas that give skiers the chance to pause. An extremely varied slope, definitely fun, for good skiers.
Technical details: “Black” slope Start 2.080 meters asl Finish 1.886 meters asl Vertical drop 194 meters Length 700 meters
