Olimpionica 2 (“Black” slope) – Andalo Fai della Paganella
The black slope that we are talking about is the slope on which, since 2006, the U.S. ski team trains for the World Cup. The USA SKI TEAM includes : Bode Miller, Ted Ligety, Eric Schlopy, Byron Friedman, Scott Macartney, Steve Nyman, Dane Spencer and Tom Rothrock. You can see these athletes as you ski down this fantastic, yet very technical, slope. In 2005, this slope was voted the best slope in the entire Trentino region by the “Adige ama la neve” (Adige loves snow) contest and in December 2006 it was the winner of a survey carried out by the Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper. You will be able to understand why it has received so many technical merits only when you ski down the Olimpionica 2 slope, coming into full contact with its challenging features, as you admire the amazing view and enjoy the satisfaction of skiing on the same snow that the American champions have chosen to train on for important international competitions.
A state of the art snowmaking system allows the entire slope to be completely prepared and groomed using programmed snow. For expert skiers.
