DoloMitica– Pinzolo

During the 2010/11 winter season, the Pinzolo ski area added another new slope, which starts from the Doss del Sabion (2100 m) and then descends down to the bottom of the valley (800 m).
The DoloMitica, the new “jewel” of this ski area is located among fascinating and  one-of-a-kind surroundings and its technical characteristics make this slope one of the most amazing and challenging descents in all of the Alps.
Two possible tracks:

The DoloMitica Star, challenging and perfect for the most demanding skiers
Start elevation: 2.100 meters
Arrival elevation: 852 meters
Elevation difference: 1.248 meters
Length: 3.455 meters
Average slope gradient: 36%

The DoloMitica Tour, a long descent with a moderate difficulty level that crosses through spectacular landscapes all the way down to the bottom of the valley
Start elevation: 2.100 meters
Arrival elevation: 852 meters
Elevation difference: 1.248 meters
Length: 5.750 meters
Average slope gradient: 22%
