Folgarida lies at 1.3 thousand metres a.s.l. amongst the Val Meledrio pine forests, along the road linking Val di Sole to Madonna di Campiglio.

Marilleva is split into two centres: Marilleva 1400 (starting point of lift facilities going to Folgarida and Madonna di Campiglio) and Marilleva 900, located on the bottom of the Valley opposite Mezzana.

By the train Dolomiti Express you can easily reach the ski slopes without parking or traffic problems. At the Daolasa-Commezzadura station, thanks to the Daolasa-Val Mastellina gondola lift, in just 12 minutes it is possible to directly reach the heart of Folgarida-Marilleva-Madonna di Campiglio ski area.
